Numerous alternatives were reviewed and discussed, including solar lighting, retaining the gas lights, replacing every gas light with LED fixtures, allowing residents to install their own lights, and other ideas suggested by homeowners. Each option was evaluated based on long-term viability, maintenance, appearance, reliability, cost, and practicality.
After extensive review and community input, pedestal-style LED lighting at key intersections was determined to be the best overall solution for Craneridge.
