Craneridge is looking for a few dog owners who would be willing to help keep our community’s dog waste stations clean and maintained.
Two of our longtime waste station volunteers have recently “retired” from their duties after many years of helping out, and we’re very grateful for all the time they’ve given to the community. Their departure means we now have a couple of openings on the volunteer rotation.
The job is simple: volunteers collect and replace the waste station liners, which are provided, and dispose of the collected bags with their own household trash pickup.
Because the responsibility is shared among several volunteers, each person typically only has a turn about once every 6–8 weeks. The group is also very flexible about swapping turns if someone will be away or unavailable.
If you’re a dog owner who uses the stations and would be willing to lend a hand every couple of months, we’d really appreciate your help!
