Volunteers Needed for Fall Clean-up on Saturday, October 10 @ 9:00 am – Pool Shelter

The Maintenance Committee has scheduled a Fall Community Clean-up scheduled for Saturday, October 10th. To volunteer your time, please meet at the Pool shelter by 9:00 am.

Projects will revolve around winterizing the Pool, the surrounding garden and the Pool Shelter, as well as general community clean-up and storage.

If you have questions or suggestions, feel free to contact Adam Wichlacz at 716-725-1864. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, October 10th!!

Pumpkin Painting and Movie! Saturday 9/26/20 @ pool shelter

Join us for some Halloween fun on Saturday, 9/26 @ the pool shelter. We will paint pumpkins at 5:30, have pizza at 6:30, and start movie with popcorn and goodie bags at 7:30. We plan to show “Hocus Pocus” (PG).
Costumes encouraged!

Please practice social distancing, and bring a chair….. If weather is chilly or rainy, we will host the movie under the shelter, sides down, heaters on!

Please sign up each person attending by Wed, 9/23 on either the Craneridge Facebook post or the Nextdoor post, so we have a head count for pumpkins, pizza, and goodie bags!

All kids must be accompanied by an adult.

looking for Feedback and a volunteer to Chair the Social Committee

Due to COVID-19 and other significant changes, it seems that social activities and many other functions may need to be re-imagined within our community. To move forward, we created a form (link below) to collect your ideas, input, feedback and suggestions for the Social Committee. If you have kids, please ask them for their ideas or if you have a hobby, perhaps you may have time to share skills with small groups either socially distant or virtually? All ideas welcome!

In addition, the Craneridge BOD is searching for volunteers for the Social Committee, specifically for the Chair position. This can also be co-chaired if two members would like to share the responsibility.

Q: What the purpose of Social Committee?
A: The mission of the social committee is to bring the neighborhood together and is responsible for setting up the social events for the community. Planned events help to give Craneridge members a chance to get to know one another on a deeper level and serving on the committee is a perfect way to make a positive impact on the community.

Q: What are the Common Responsibilities of a Social Committee Chair? A: Attend and actively participate in all Social Committee events; Promote interest in all social events; Organize and facilitate event planning, with the assistance of the other members of the committee; Encourage resident participation and attendance at the Social Committee events via face-to-face interaction, social media, and other tools; and Prepare invitations and signs, to be displayed or distributed prior to an event.

Kaila Hager has stepped-down as Executive Secretary. The Board would like to extend our appreciation and gratitude to Kaila for taking on the role to help serve our community.

Important Reminders for the Annual Meeting

The meeting is Saturday, August 15 at 10:00am at the Picnic Shelter.  Early registration will begin at 9:45am.

Masks are required to allow safe voter registration.

Residents with outstanding assessment payments will not be permitted to vote as per Craneridge Association ByLaw 3.03.

Payments will be accepted at the meeting.

Help Wanted – Craneridge Executive Secretary

The Craneridge Association is looking to fill the position of Executive Secretary.  The Executive Secretary completes the day to day business activities of the Association interacting with residents, realtors and service providers.  It requires working knowledge of bookkeeping, Windows (or Mac) business software and general business practices.  Attention-to-detail and great customer service are key success factors. Residence in Craneridge would be ideal.  It takes about 30 hours per month to manage the Association’s business activities and requires attendance at monthly board meetings. This is a paid position.

ANNUAL CRANERIDGE MEMBERS MEETING – Saturday, August 15th 10:00 am at the Pool Shelter

This meeting will provide you with the opportunity to hear updates on the activities of the Association as well as elect new Board Members. There will be four (4) Board positions open.

SPECIAL NOTE: The Annual Meeting will heed governmental recommendations and social distancing guidelines. Please wear a mask and bring a chair so that we can all remain 6 feet apart, unless you are
from the same household. The BOD will have an AV system with a microphone set-up so that everyone can hear the presentations.
