Join Gwen Alegre, Craneridge’s own New York Master Naturalist, for an educational nature walk through the Meadow on Saturday, June 27 at 11:00 AM.
The theme of the walk is “It may be green, but it’s not all good.” Gwen will discuss invasive plants and insects found throughout Craneridge, along with the impact they can have on our local environment.
Participants will also learn about the importance of native plants in our woodlands and on our individual properties. This is a great opportunity to better understand the natural environment around us and discover ways we can help protect Craneridge’s woodlands and habitat.
The walk will begin at the Meadow.
