The current proposal focuses on key intersections because it addresses the Town’s immediate lighting concerns while keeping project costs significantly lower for homeowners.
At the same time, the infrastructure being installed would allow the community to expand the lighting system in the future if residents decide additional lighting is desired. This approach provides flexibility while avoiding the much larger upfront cost of replacing every former gas light location immediately.
