So… What’s the Scoop – Both Jan Freeman and Butch Lesniak (neighbors in Craneridge) have Birthdays in September… and were bantering about ideas of how to ‘celebrate’ this year. The thought of having some nice entertainment rose to the surface. And… since they are blessed to have such great neighbors, great friends, and family in the area… they decided to have a September Celebration Concert – and invite EVERYONE IN CRANERIDGE to join their other FAMILY and FRIENDS for an evening of music and fun.
Our Entertainers –

April is a vocalist who loves to tell a story through song. Together they weave a journey through music that encompasses many genres. We are excited to have them perform for us on September 29th.
Craneridge is lucky to have a widely diverse population of birds in our area. Learn more about the birds that live (and migrate through) our neighborhood.

Carolyn Lansom is the lead vocalist of “Dozo My Lady” – an exciting trio performing an eclectic mix of music focusing on jazz but equally proficient in pop, rock and bar room standards. This Buffalo New York trio was formed by Carolyn Lansom (vocals, percussion) and Dave Lansom (upright bass, vocals) in 2010 while they were living in Japan. With the addition of Greg Amato (guitar, vocals, melodica) in 2013 the group evolved into a consistently engaging, versatile act that is pleasing audiences across Western New York. (For our Craneridge Concert Performance, Carolyn will be accompanied by Harry Graser on keyboards.) Carolyn’s impressive multifaceted vocals encompass jazz, gypsy, and rock stylings. From intimate venues such as The Terrace at Delaware Park to jazz festivals and large events this Carolyn presents a captivating, and well rehearsed performance. A Dozo My Lady show will feature selections made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Van Morrison, The Beatles, The Temptations, Buck Owens, and Norah Jones just to name a few.
