Join Us in Preserving Craneridge’s Charm: Sign the Petition Against Cobra-Style Street Lights!

At the annual meeting on June 9, the Craneridge Lighting Committee updated the community on the status of our gas lights.  In short, the lighting committee is working to have lights installed at the intersections that would match the demo street lights at the Meadow.  This would help maintain our unique setting as well as property value.  Though we have had steady communication with the Town of Concord over the past 2 years, the Town is looking into having cobra-style lights at our intersections.

After the meeting, we have received overwhelming support against the proposed cobra-style lights for our neighborhood. Many have asked for a petition to express our unified objection to the Town’s plan.

In response to the public demand, we have created a petition urging the Town Board to consider alternative lighting solutions that prioritize safety while preserving our neighborhood’s beauty and respecting the night sky.

Your voice matters!  Please take a moment to sign the On-Line Petition-Against Cobra-Lights .

If you prefer to print a hardcopy of the Petition (to sign and deliver back to the Lighting Committee), please Click on this Link:  Petition Hardcopy

Note:  Each Craneridge household/lot is entitled to submit as many Petition responses as there are voting-age residents affiliated with the Property.

The more signatures we have, the stronger our message will be to the Town Board.

Please submit your Petition response on/before Friday, July 5, 2024, to get the Task-Force sufficient time to compile the submission responses.
